Once Stefanos and I finally make it out of the bathroom, I notice Carmen is no longer on my bed. I look around the bedroom thinking she’s snooping, as I’m pretty sure that’s the kind of person she is, but I don’t see her anywhere. I head to my closet and pull on some black tights and a loose shirt. Then I make my way down the stairs while Stefanos is getting dressed. Just as I hit the bottom of the stairs, I hear Carmen talking in the living room.

“Aren’t you a fine piece of ass,” I hear Carmen say. I laugh thinking she’s talking to Rock, as he was the only one left when we went upstairs.

“Baby, my ass is better than fine… it’s fucking delectable.”

I walk faster. Now that I hear the voice, I know who it belongs to.

Just as I round the corner, I see Carmen standing there eyeing Hunter up and down like he will be

her next meal. And for all I know, he could very well be.

“Hunter, always a pleasure,” I say when I step into the living room.

“You have no idea,” he says, looking at me the same way Carmen is staring at him.

“You’ve got to be kidding me? Him too? Fuck, Eliza, you can’t have them all. You know sharing is caring,” Carmen pipes up.

This makes me look away from Hunter and back to her. She has a scowl on her face. I scowl right back and then look back over to Hunter. He looks good today, very fucking good. No scrap that; this man always looks good. Though today he’s in more casual clothing. Jeans and black t-shirt. His blond hair is tied back in a ponytail and he’s looking mighty fine.

“I see you followed Father’s commands,” I say, referring to his vest not being worn in our home as it attracts unwanted attention.

“You know I listen and respect that man, Kalon. He would have me neutered otherwise," he says and shakes his head.

“Do you want to be a dead man, Hunter?” I hear, coming from behind me. I turn to see Stefanos looking rather pissed off.

“Na, not today,” Hunter says and winks at me.

I watch as Stefanos makes his way past me to reach Hunter. I grab his hand just as he passes and lace my fingers through his. He looks back at me and his face softens just a touch. He brings my hand up and kisses it lightly before coming to stand next to me.

“Hunter, why are you here?” I ask, trying to defuse the situation.

“I don’t have who you wanted, but I know where he is right now.”

Butterflies instantly swarm in my belly with excitement. I look to Stefanos and smile. He shakes his head, but he has a small smirk on his face.

“Where is he?” I ask, turning my back to Hunter.

“Currently he’s in his restaurant, though I suggest waiting to go there till it closes.”

He looks at me then back to Carmen. I notice she hasn’t spoken, she’s just standing there.
